Harmony in Malaysia

In the summer of 2006 Sri Chinmoy and his students spent several weeks touring and experiencing the warmth and culture of Malaysia. Whenever we can we like to hold World Harmony Run events with the local community with the feeling of connecting their lives to lives others across the globe who participate in the Run.
With the support of the State Government of Trengganu we held a beautiful run in the provincial capital of Kuala Trengganu, situated mid way up the east coast of the Malaysia on the South China Sea.
The Run followed a 20km course from the University through town for a final ceremony on the beach promenade. Along the way the 40 members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre were joined by 200 very enthusiastic university students who ran with us all the way despite the extremely warm conditions.
The people of Malaysia are showing the world how to live in harmony with people from many cultures and religions living together in oneness. A very inspiring day.
